Job Description: What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a Studio Coordinator to support the mission and vision of the University at the University Libraries within the Library & Academic Technology Services Department. This position will oversee projects for the team's five studios and audiovisual equipment. Day-to-day tasks include keeping studios operational and ready for upcoming work. Maintains inventory and coordinates with vendors for ordering, repairs, and upgrades. Triages studio issues and offers technical assistance to production team and clients. Team has two services that include audiovisual work, each with a manager: faculty video production and student audiovisual projects.

A Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant work experience is required. Five years of relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will DoCoordinate day-to-day activities of the studios including scheduling, shoot setup and strike, and client communication and orientation

  • Maintain all studios including cleaning, organization, inventory, and purchasing
  • Provide technical assistance to producers and clients for shoots and triage issues. Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades and coordinate with vendors
  • Offer logistics and production assistance for field and remote recording
  • Assist with curricular uses of studios, including orientations, training, documentation, and instructional support
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
  • Ability to comply with University policies
