This is a supervisory paraprofessional position under the general direction of the Deputy Director for Borrower Services.  This position performs  the daily operations of the mobile libraries, and delivery to branches; coordinates and performs circulation activities; provides exemplary customer service to patrons; acts as a liaison with the Main Library Circulation Department and C/W MARS; and sees that the vehicles are in good repair and reports repair needs to the Deputy Director. Work will include evenings, weekends and assignments in other departments and locations as assigned.

Qualifications

**MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE **

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         One (1) year of community public service work, such as library, book store, or equivalent 

·         Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to required locations in a timely                           manner

·         Must have a valid driver’s license

·         Ability to successfully pass CORI/SORI     

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·         Two (2) years supervisory experience

·         One (1) year of customer service experience

·         One (1) year experience working with diverse communities in an urban environment
