Director of Finance

CT Humanities (CTH), a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities located in Middletown, Connecticut, seeks a full-time (37.5 hours) director of finance.

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the deputy director of administration, the director of finance is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all financial aspects of the organization, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, and financial planning in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. This position handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and grants fiscal administration. CT Humanities currently has a staff of seventeen and an annual budget of $2.5 million.
