Youth Services Assistant

The Itasca Community Library’s Youth Services Department is looking for a friendly, creative part-time Youth Services Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook, experience working in a public library, and demonstrate the ability to empathize and relate to the needs of all patrons, especially children and their caregivers.

Job duties for this position include, but are not limited to, providing readers advisory and reference services at the Youth Desk and providing patrons basic assistance with technology.

This position requires a bachelor's degree and at least one year of customer service experience.
