Physical Requirements

This position requires occasional lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs, may sit for long periods of time.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (40 hrs/week).

Please note: This position is on-call and expected to work any shifts including evenings and weekends not covered by staff or students.

Job Summary

The Science & Engineering Library Manager serves as the primary employee responsible for all public service operations, collection access and facilities issues. These duties include handling patron inquiries, supervising all student & staff employees, project management, education & outreach, administrative support, and professional engagement & service.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel and Word; Alma or other ILS; Springshare and other related library applications.

Preferred Education/Experience

Experience in an academic library setting or library coursework. Library management experience preferred.
