The Community College of Aurora is seeking a current graduate library science student or recent graduate to serve as a Research & Instruction Intern. This position is a part-time temporary through the end of FY25. This position will focus on serving CCA students with research help services. This includes answering reference questions via email, chat or in person. This position will also assist with providing library instruction sessions on various aspects of research skills and information literacy topics. This position will also perform other library tasks as needed and determined by the Director of Library & Educational Resources Department in collaboration with the intern and based on needs and interests.
OVERVIEW OF CCA The Community College of Aurora serves our diverse community by providing high-quality instruction and support services to prepare students for transfer and employment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the Teaching and Learning Supports Department, the Hub, and other units across campus to develop and assess student-centered information literacy programs, workshops, lesson plans, tutorials, and research guides
Salary: The hourly rate offered for this position is $20/hr.
