Library Assistant

The Town of Wales is seeking applicants for the part time position of Substitute Library Assistant, with the expectation of regularly scheduled hours to be forthcoming.  This position works under the direct supervision of the Library Director and is responsible for providing clerical services in the areas of circulation support, patron services, collection processing and providing excellent customer service to all patrons.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a high school diploma; successful completion of a Criminal Offender Record Check (CORI) background check required.  Starting rate of pay to be determined.  

Bachelor’s degree and previous library experience preferred.
