Position Summary: This position is a 100% appointment in the Access Services Department under the general supervision of the Access Services Manager. Performs a wide variety of library services which support the day-to-day operations to provide access to information resources in a variety of formats. Trains and guides student employees. Previous library experience preferred but not required. Seeking candidates with transferable skills and an interest in variety in their daily tasks.   • Strong organizational skills and experience with detail-oriented work
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, and 10 pounds overhead
  • Ability to push and pull wheeled conveyances weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical work including reaching, turning, stooping, and twistingPreferred
  • Knowledge of library public service functions, including circulation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to work successfully with multiple teams
  • Ability to supervise the work of employees

Salary range: $18.45-$18.60 per hour

A criminal background check will be completed on final candidate. The selected candidate must be able to pass a post-offer employment test. A six-month probationary period is required.
