Position Summary
The Data Visualization Specialist will play a key role in advancing research, teaching, and scholarly communication at the UNM Health Sciences Center by providing consultation and training in data visualization, research data management, and open science practices. This open rank faculty member will guide faculty, researchers, and students in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting complex data using effective visualization techniques, while promoting best practices in data organization, storytelling, and sharing. This position also contributes to institutional policy development, interdisciplinary research, and scholarly output that enhances the impact and accessibility of UNM's research.
This is a full-time, benefits eligible faculty position with a primary appointment in HSLIC. The UNM provides a diversified package of benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
