Library Access Services Specialist

Job Description:

The Library Access Services Specialist provides a wide range of access, collections, and patron services in the Feldberg Business and Engineering Library, part of the Dartmouth Libraries system.  As a co-lead of Feldberg’s access services team, the position manages student employees. The Library Access Services Specialist provides interlibrary loan and document delivery services, coordinates support for Feldberg equipment and technology and works closely with, cross-trains, and provides back-up for their access services team partner.

Requirements:

· 2 plus years of work experience in public service, and a strong public service ethic. · Strong supervisory and organizational skills. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact effectively with library patrons and work collaboratively with staff. · Able to work independently and with good judgement, and to set and modify work priorities. · Proficient with standard computer equipment and office productivity software.
