If you see yourself in an urban environment in a growing city under the sun, this is the place for you!  Librarian IIs perform under limited supervision heads Youth services and Innovative Tech services; is responsible and oversees the daily activities and engagement for the department.  Develops, plans, and implements services for adults including collection development, cognitive, technology and literacy programming, and community outreach. Serves as a member of the library’s management team. Supervises para-professional staff.  Evenings and weekends required. Reports to a certified Librarian III or higher.

Education/Qualifications:

Masters degree in Library Information Science from an ALA accredited institution.  Two or more years experience in public library children's services, technology tinkling, literacy instruction or school media.  Experience in community engagement, early Literacy, music, coding education, family engagement, and instructions services preferred.
