The Info Services-Outreach Librarian engages with the community, supporting outreach efforts throughout the library. They will help to maintain outreach collections, and conduct off-site visits as needed, using the library’s new bookmobile.
The Morse Institute Library values diversity in backgrounds and experiences, and the library’s leadership team is committed to an empathetic and supportive work environment for all employees. The Library is deliberate and self-reflective about the team we are building, and we are seeking professionals who are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting the growth of the Natick community.
This is a full-time, benefited position (37.5 hours per week) starting at $33.87/hr. It is a non-exempt position. The Town of Natick offers excellent employee benefits, including 4 weeks vacation after completion of the probationary period. There is a set weekly schedule including every other Saturday, and two evenings per week.
Qualifications
The Info Services-Outreach Librarian should have a minimum of two years appropriate professional experience working with individuals or groups engaged in literacy and ESOL education, and have experience in literacy program development.
