Head of Circulation

The Antioch Public Library District is looking for a dynamic, forward thinking person to join our management team.  Our circulation department is the heartbeat of the library so this role is crucial to our community both inside and outside the library.   We just completed a total renovation, went fines-free and are in the midst of a reorganization of staff.  The successful candidate will have supervisory experience, as this position supervises a staff of 12 mostly part-time employees.  We would also prefer experience managing the circulation functions of an ILS-we use TLC's Library.Solution.  We prefer a BA/BS and minimum 2 years experience in a public library.  Valid driver's license, proper vehicle insurance or ability to travel, excellent computer and communication skills are required.
