Starting placement will generally not exceed 15% of the advertised initial salary range and is based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

This position is for a Library Special Services Coordinator for Community Workforce Development primarily reporting to the Main Library. The primary function of this position is to support the business and workforce needs of Leon County residents. The person in this position identifies employment and business needs based on data and proposes and initiates services and programs related to these needs system wide. Work involves assisting library users in selecting and borrowing materials, handling customer service issues, and other related duties as assigned. Library Special Services Coordinators uphold the mission and values of the library system when performing these duties by following library policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.

Education/Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in a business related field, and 2 years of experience or six years of job related experience
