Head of Circulation and Technology

The Rockville Public Library is seeking a friendly, tech-savvy and customer focused Head of Circulation and Technology to join our amazing team at the Rockville Public Library in Vernon, CT.

Responsibilities include: Overseeing all circulation activity, including scheduling and assigning job duties to other library staff in the areas of circulation. Assist library patrons in the use of library services, facilities and equipment. Assists Library Director on the technical needs of the library and provide technical training to patrons and staff. Must be able to work some evenings and at least one Saturday per month. This is a 40 hour per week position.

Must be comfortable working with diverse customers and coworkers. Able to work in a fast paced, customer service environment with patience, flexibility, and attention to detail.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least three years of experience in library circulation and customer service. Some supervisory experience required.

Hourly Wage: $27.66 - $32.07 (based on experience)
