Reporting to the Rare Books Curator in the Booth Family Center for Special Collections (BFCSC), the Collections Specialist assists in the retrieval, use, and preservation of the department's rare and unique materials. The position's four core areas of responsibility are: coordinating access to BFCSC's collections, overseeing courier delivery and pick up, supporting department research and reference services, and providing administrative support to the BFSC operations. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:Oversee the processes for the retrieval and return of special collections materials located in Booth's on-campus and off-campus storage spaces.
The Collections Specialist reports to the Rare Books Curator. The Collections Specialist will work with other Booth staff to support the department's research services, instructional services, and outreach efforts. The position will have direct (in person) and indirect (via email, phone, chat) contact with researchers on a frequent basis. This position represents the BFCSC on Library task forces, committees, and working groups.

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $19.20 - $28.70
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
