The Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library is accepting applications for the position of Library Circulation and Volunteer Coordinator/Adult Services. This is a permanent full-time (38-40 hours a week) position with some required evenings and Saturdays.

A master's in library science and previous library experience/strong patron services are required.

Applications will be reviewed beginning October 7, 2024. The position will be open until filled.

This position performs various responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Oversees circulation operations including management of Interlibrary Loan procedures and coordination with the states Delivery Systems
• Readers advisory, reference, and other professional library services to library patrons
• Assists with the planning, organizing, managing, and administering library programs and functions for adults
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and age of collections based on community needs
• Works with a small library team
• Oversees volunteer schedule for main circulation desk duties
• Reports to Library Director
• Oversees new patron implementations and follow-up.

Qualifications for this position include the requirement of a Masters in Library Science degree and at least two year of related library experience (in a small public library).

Benefits Available.

Salary: $45,000 - $47,000
