You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our students' lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Librarian Assistant to be a part of our team.
Position Goals: To ensure that the information needs of Galen's student body are met on a day-to-day basis, to uphold Galen's library policies, and to provide necessary library support for library and local campus administration.
Position Responsibilities:
Position Requirements:
Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED; some college preferred
Experience/Skills: Library or information science training desirable; good working knowledge of Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite; flexible, detail-oriented, effective communicator with ability to work as a team player
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit at a desk for 8 hours at a time, and the ability to reach overhead, bend, and stretch. Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
Degree of Supervision: Minimal
