Qualifications

Must have an M.L.S. from an ALA-accredited library school, with coursework in children’s  services, and a demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education ; One year of experience providing direct services to children aged 0 to 12 strongly preferred,  in a public library or related environment; Minimum one year of experience providing customer service and/or instructional or outreach  services to the general public.
