Description
Reporting to the Director of the Law Library, the Assistant/Associate Director for Access and Collection Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the organization, maintenance, and discoverability of library resources in all formats. This position carries administrative and supervisory responsibilities and involves collaborating with other law librarians to develop, deliver, and expand library and access services for students and faculty. The role includes managing circulation, acquisitions, cataloging, interlibrary loan, and electronic resources, as well as supervising staff to ensure exceptional service delivery. The Assistant/Associate Director also oversees the Law School's Digital Institutional Repository (Scholarship @ Hofstra Law), ensuring growth and accessibility. This is a full-time position, with a limited and negotiable hybrid work schedule.
