As a Project Archivist with the School of Information, the qualified applicant will work as a cooperator for the National Park Service (NPS) Intermountain Region Museum Services Program in the Archives and Records Management Division, located in Tucson, AZ. The primary responsibility of the Archivist is to, develop and refine processing plans, physically process, arrange, complete storage upgrades, and descriptive cataloging of resource management-based records. Additionally, the Archivist will prepare finding aids to facilitate the research of collections. Resource management records include natural and cultural resource project records, programmatic records, and records documenting the daily administrative activities of various park units. The Archivist will also gain experience based on the best practices outlined by National Archives Records Administration. This includes scanning, metadata attachment, and storage.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
