Manager, Continuations

Yale Library seeks a highly collaborative and service-oriented individual to join our team of innovative technical services professionals as the Manager of Continuations. Following the initial onboarding period, this position is eligible for hybrid work schedules (Yale Library revisits work schedules annually).

The Manager of Continuations is instrumental in establishing and maintaining strong intellectual control over continuous and integrated content throughout the acquisitions lifecycle. Leading a team of one librarian and six paraprofessionals, this individual works closely with colleagues and vendors to effectively manage the payments and renewals for e-resources and subscriptions within Yale's diverse research collections. Works closely with other units in ERSM and partner departments to establish best practices that ensure the efficient acquisition, licensing, payment, and renewal of both routine and complex electronic resources in support of the library's broader mission. This individual also supervises print serial management tasks such as orders, renewals, check-in, and binding preparation.
