This position will develop and lead a team of committed staff who provide excellent customer service at two service points in our main library and serve as a resource for circulation and user services issues.

Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the operations and personnel in Access Services to promote user access to collections and services; serve as a resource for other library circulation sites; provide service to library users and communicate related policies and procedures to the public; support an inclusive, diverse, and collaborative work environment and service culture to advance the strategic direction of the University Libraries.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in library and information science or related field from an accredited university by date of hire. At least three years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of basic Microsoft applications. Ability to work nights and weekends as needed. 

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in related field. At least one year of supervisory experience in a library setting; experience in library public service; experience providing library reference services.
