The University of Louisville seeks an energetic, service-oriented librarian who is skilled and interested in technical services in an academic library. Reporting to the Head, Technical Services and Collection Development (Print) in Ekstrom Library, the position is responsible for cataloging materials in all formats for the Ekstrom, Art, and Archives and Special Collections Libraries according to national and local standards. The position manages the University of Louisville’s collection of digital objects in the Internet Archive.

This is a twelve-month, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Instructor (Term) or Assistant Professor (Term). The minimum starting salary range is $55,000 per year. Entry rank and salary are negotiated at the time of offer and are dependent on the experience, professional achievement and assigned rank of the successful candidate. The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, an annual vacation of 22 working days, and support for professional development. Promotion requires demonstration of scholarship and other criteria.
