Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in History or Library Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
Demonstrates understanding of archival standards.
Experience working with audio-visual materials.
Should have experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
Excellent visual, communication, and public speaking skills.
Ability to lift and carry 35 to 40-pound boxes is mandatory.
Ability to read cursive handwriting.
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of the history of Missouri and the Midwest.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Hiring Salary: $19.23 per hour Grade: GGS 008 University Title: Manuscript Specialist Internal applicants can determine their University title by accessing the Talent Profile tile in myHR.
