The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), part of the State University of New York and an internationally renowned college of art, design, business and technology with a strong emphasis on liberal arts, invites nominations and applications for a Part-Time Library Specialist (CBA Title:Technologist C).
Job Description:
This customer and technology service position supports the Access & Circulation Services mission which includes daily operations, collection management, access to library resources at library service points and digital content.

Salary
Salary Range: $38.03- $40.76 per hour
The UCE-FIT Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) dictates the compensation, benefits, and conditions of employment. Hiring Rate: $38.03- $40.76 per hour with step increments per Salary Schedule 91, after 18 months of service and annually thereafter.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The working conditions for this position will be on campus primarily in an office environment. The physical requirement for this position will require frequent sitting, frequent standing, frequent bending, frequent walking, and occasional lifting 50 lbs. or less.
