Part-time Library Clerk

Responsibilities:

• check items in/out
• register and update patron accounts
• assist patrons in person and over the phone
• pull books for holds and transits to/from other libraries, empty book drops
• assist patrons with computers, copier, laminator, and scanner
• assist with events and additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• G-suite and Microsoft Office
• customer service experience
• lift and move heavy items
• be personable, flexible, and a hard worker
• Strong computer skills is a must

Knowledge of the Libby app, PINES system, popular authors, and the Dewey Decimal System is a plus but not required.

Details:

• must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
• 29 hours per week
• $14.50 per hour, Teachers Retirement System of Georgia (TRSGA), no benefits
