Job Description

This position would work with faculty to plan, develop, and deliver information literacy instruction sessions for programs focusing on online course sections and College Now. It would further the library’s campus-wide DEI initiatives by leading our Open Education Resource (OER) initiatives and coordinating outreach activities within the library and with various departments, including displays, events, and social media. This position would also develop and maintain online videos, tutorials, and research guides, provide research help services through on-call, consultation, and chat services, and support the strategic initiatives of the McFarland Library. 

Minimum Qualifications

        Qualifications: ALA accredited MLIS

        1 year teaching experience (preferred: online) 

Preferred Qualification 

  • Demonstrated ability to work on a team and independently

  • Experience with ExLibris’ Alma Integrated Library System

  • Experience with Springshare’s LibSuite products, specifically LibChat and LibGuides

  • Familiarity with D2L (or other online learning platforms), Zoom, Microsoft Teams
