Manages the overall tracking of the Libraries’ electronic resources. Involves detailed record keeping of administrative metadata across several proprietary systems and knowledge bases. Assists in acquiring, administering, maintaining, and ensuring continuity of access to electronic content.

Maintains administrative metadata in the discovery and electronic resource management systems or analogous systems (e.g. spreadsheets, SharePoint, OneDrive). Tracks changes to licensed databases, collections, e-journal packages, and other electronic content.

Verifies that renewal costs match contractual agreements. Maintains administrative accounts for electronic resource platforms and vendor databases in order to manage content and generate reports.

Works with the Electronic Resources Librarian in collecting order and usage data, and creates customized reports as needed by administration or liaison librarians.

Works with the Electronic Resources Librarian to maintain library holdings in the knowledgebase and discovery systems. Tracks publisher, platform, and title changes. Performs appropriate record maintenance. Migrates subscribed titles and access links as appropriate. Communicates holdings, title, and linking problems to commercial knowledgebase provider.

Works closely with other library departments to disseminate information about electronic resources. Notifies Cataloging of changes to ensure that electronic resource and e-journal records in the ILS are up to date with the correct URLs, titles, or any other change notices received from vendors. Triages resource and technology problem reports and assists in troubleshooting.

Receives new resource inquiries from liaison librarians. Works with vendors to set up trial access to electronic resources. Provides price quote information or usage reports when requested.

Assists Electronic Resources Librarian with administration and organization of new and renewing license agreements. Collaborates with Acquisitions staff to monitor electronic resource renewals.

Education/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of related experience with two (2) years of supervisory experience.
