  • This position is responsible for adding content to the MOspace Institutional Repository as well as ensuring the discoverability of the content through the creation of descriptive records using appropriate metadata. The position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys acquiring new skills and is willing to learn and adapt workflows for optimal efficiency. Training for specific job duties will be provided.

Key Job Duties:Add content to MOspace

  • Enhance discoverability of MOspace content
  • Document digitization and photo editing
  • Other duties, as assignedShift

40 hours/week, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of library experience.
  • Experience working with online resources.
  • Knowledge of metadata used in description of library resources.
  • Experience digitizing/scanning material in a library or related setting.
  • Able to apply detailed standards accurately.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks, manage own work, and meet department work goals.
  • Able to work with others on shared projects and to work independently.Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $14.51 to $15.51 hourly

Grade: GGS-006
