  • Computer experience is required;

  • Must be able to lift 10+ pounds.Major Responsibilities/Duties
  • Greet and help people in friendly, courteous manner;
  • Adhere to Library policies;
  • Assists patrons with library research thru face-to-face interviews, email, phone and/or by text (in-depth computer and database usage);
  • Helps manages Reserves and Inter-Library Loan
  • Attends monthly staff meetings
  • Exchange information through good oral and written communication skills;
  • Answering phone calls
  • Check library materials in and out;
  • Assist students with computer usage, printing, copying, etc.;
  • Become familiar with and use Library Catalog & Circulation software;
  • Serve as managing supervisor for the shift;
  • Responsible for opening and closing the library;
  • Organize and file library items;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.Additional Information

Work Schedule/Salary Range

  • This is a part-time position, Fall and Spring semesters, working two evenings a week, Monday through Thursday from 5pm to midnight and Saturday/Sunday alternating weekends. This position pays $13.65-$14.50 per hour.
