KidSpace Desk Associate

Are you passionate about engaging young minds and creating a welcoming environment for children to explore the joys of reading and learning? Join our team as a Library Associate where you’ll provide top-notch customer service and support our collections and spaces. This is an ideal position for a motivated, community-oriented individual with a knack for working with children and their families.

Primary job duties include:

• Offers readers' advisory and reference services, referring complex inquiries to librarians.

• Guides children and caregivers in using our online catalog and digital resources.

• Assists with technology-related questions, library equipment, and explaining library policies.

• Supports children’s activities, programs, and events, including setup and clean-up.

• Maintains an inviting and organized environment within KidSpace.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
