Library Assistant 3, Children's Services – South Windsor Public Library

This Library Assistant 3 position performs basic as well as higher level clerical functions related to the day-to-day operations of the library in the areas of children's programming, collection maintenance, technical services, and circulation. Work involves responsibility for providing services to library patrons and performing general administrative services. Duties may include planning and administering programs, purchasing and cataloging new materials, representing the Library at outreach events, and providing research assistance. The position requires the use of independent judgment, initiative, maturity, observation, and communication skills. $25.72 per hour. Union position. Full time (37.5 hours/week) with benefits.
