Responsible for developing, administering, and marketing system-wide Library activities, services, and activities for non-English/multilingual speaking residents and diverse communities. Develops ongoing partnerships with Palm Beach County foreign language and multicultural organizations, media, and communities. Represents the Library at community events.  Analyzes branch and County demographics to make material recommendations to Intellectual Resources staff; evaluates, selects, and maintains the foreign language collections at the Main Library. Creates content on the Library’s website pertaining to multicultural resources, services, and collections.  Oversees the translation team that produces Library information in other languages; works with Library personnel to track staff multilingual abilities. Investigates external funding sources, prepares grant applications, and administers grants secured. Provides assistance to members at Main Library service desk and in one-on-ones.

Education/Qualifications:

**QUALIFICATIONS:  **Master’s Degree in Library Science (MLS) accredited by the American Library Association (ALA); minimum of one (1) year of professional library experience.  PREFERENCE FOR: Experience developing and executing culturally diverse library events (must specify on application); experience developing library programs;  bi/trilingual (English/Spanish/Creole); two (2) or more years of professional library experience.
