  • Baylor University is seeking a Continuing Resource Specialist (LIS IV) to support the mission and vision of the University within the University Libraries Division. The Continuing Resource Specialist (LIS IV) position handles all aspects of subscribing, renewing, and canceling electronic and print continuing resources, which involves continuous correspondence with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Responsibilities include working both independently and with the Continuation Team members to resolve complex access and payment issues involving continuing resources in all formats. The position will be responsible for ushering vendor contracts and license agreements into the review and authorization process and ensures resulting documentation is preserved in the online repository. Additional duties include maintaining up-to-date records for purchased and subscribed resources in institutional and library systems.

A Bachelor's Degree is required. A Master's Degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred. Experience and education may be considered in lieu of one another.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
