The Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library is accepting applications for a friendly and creative Library Assistant/Youth Services.

This is a permanent full-time (37.5-40 hours a week) position with some required Saturdays. Previous library experience is required.

Hours of operation - Monday through Friday 9:30 to 5:00; Saturday 9:30 to 12:30

This position performs various responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Readers advisory
• Promotes collection through book displays and exhibits
• Performs weekly story time and other creative programming for youth
• Supports the Children's Librarian on a variety of duties
• Works with patrons with choosing books
• Assists with research projects
• Collaborates with area schools
• Is proficient with Follett Destiny, Microsoft and Adobe, Canva, and Cricut
• Is able to problem solve and work independently
• Reports to Library Director.

Benefits Available.

Salary: $35,000 - $37,000
