CONTEXT OF THE JOB:
The University of Delaware Library, Museums and Press seeks a service-oriented, proactive, and collaborative individual to join our liaison team as the Business Data and Entrepreneurship Librarian. The incumbent will play a vital role in supporting the research, information literacy, and curricular needs of students and faculty within the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics and interdisciplinary entrepreneurship programs. The Business Data and Entrepreneurship Librarian contributes expertise in research data practices, business analytics, scholarly communication, and the effective use of academic resources specific to the study of business. This includes providing instruction and support for navigating and assessing business information sources, research data management best practices, and collaboration across disciplines in support of a growing number of 4+1, cross-disciplinary, and certificate programs. Given the strong focus on generative artificial intelligence within Lerner College, this position is expected to maintain a working knowledge of the application of generative AI tools to business research and teaching.

Appointment: Appointment commensurate with experience. Assistant Librarian, pay grade 29E; Senior Assistant Librarian, pay grade 30E; Associate Librarian, pay grade 31E; or Librarian, pay grade 32E. This position is part of the librarian career ladder governed by the University of Delaware Library Rank and Promotion System which guides professional development and advancement.
