Children's Services Librarian

Simsbury Public Library is accepting applications for a full-time Children's Services Librarian. This position is responsible for programming and for staffing our busy Children's Room Circulation Desk. We offer a robust calendar of events and a wide variety of programs. Successful candidates will be comfortable working with children ages birth through twelve (and their families) and have experience offering both storytime programs and after school activities for kids. This position also helps staff our busy Children's Room Circulation Desk and provides reader's advisory to our community of avid readers. The regular schedule includes one evening per week and a Saturday rotation (usually 1, but possibly 2 Saturdays per month).

This is a full-time, non-exempt A-2 position with CSEA Administrative and Professional Union with an hourly pay rate of $39.16 - $46.80, plus benefits, for a (35) hour work week.
