We’re seeking a Branch Manager to bring leadership and inspiration to our smallest and most personal branch - West Branch! Does the prospect of managing a small but growing branch excite you? Are you enthusiastic about building relationships, connecting with patrons of all ages, and developing staff? Do you enjoy thinking strategically about programs, services and spaces for engaged and enthusiastic customers? Would you like to be part of a comprehensive branch renovation that will help the library serve the community better for years to come? If yes, we’d love to hear from you!
Under the guidance of the Director of Neighborhood Services, the Branch Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of library services at the branch. This will include developing and maintaining standards for customer service, effective communication, and a positive workplace culture. You will set goals and priorities in alignment with the library’s strategic plan, oversee special projects, and evaluate branch services and performance. This is a key leadership role that will require working closely with administrative leaders across the system to strengthen community relationships through outreach, support staff development and performance, and develop excellence in program and service delivery.
