The McDermott Library at the United States Air Force Academy seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Public Services. This position leads the overall strategic management of library public services in support of cadets and faculty. The Air Force Academy, located just north of Colorado Springs, Colorado, along the front range of the Colorado Rockies, is an undergraduate institution responsible for educating, training, and inspiring future US Air Force and Space Force officers. Reporting to the Associate Dean/Director of the McDermott Library, the Assistant Director will oversee staff members who work in research services, circulation, and interlibrary loan. As a member of the library’s senior leadership team, the successful candidate will play a major role in the assessment of public service efforts, in-person and online services, outreach, space use, and strategic planning initiatives. Requirements

• The salary shown is the minimum (Annual) amount to be paid and may be set higher commensurate with individual's qualifications and experience.
• You will be required to serve a 1-year trial period
