Access Services Manager

Do you have a passion for public service and progressive experience in Circulation Services? This position could be for you. The primary responsibility of the Access Services Manager is to manage & coordinate the Access Services Department, which includes circulation, interlibrary loan, and technical services staff.

Duties include, but are not limited to: hiring, training, directing, and evaluating the work of Access Services staff to ensure quality, accuracy, productivity, and adherence to policies and procedures while working in a collaborative environment.

As part of our Leadership Team, this position works with Administration on planning and policy development to support the goals of the Library.

Minimum Qualifications: Masters of Library and Information Sciences, MLS or equivalent required and relevant public library experience. Polaris experience a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years related experience in a public library, preferably in Circulation or Technical Services. Three years of progressive library experience including a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
