Job Description: Within Special Collections the librarian will curate the resources of regional and cultural significance and is aligned with the university mission. The librarian will ensure that best practices of digital and physical archival preservation. The position will also have oversight of various collections and digital repositories. Within university archives, the librarian, working with the assistant dean and designated university administration, will ensure the overall university archives are properly maintain and are accessible. The librarian will work as the university’s liaison to the state library office for archives.

Minimum Training and Experience: ALA-accredited Master’s Degree

Management Preference: Academic library experience working in archives or special collections is required. Experience with grant writing, outreach, college level teaching, reference, fundraising, and staff supervision is preferred.
