View more recent job openings →Lincolnwood Library is seeking a friendly, sociable person who enjoys connecting with new faces. The selected candidate will play a key role in providing excellent customer service to patrons visiting Lincolnwood Library.
We’re a small, beautifully renovated library situated between the city and the suburbs of Chicago. Despite the size of our building, we offer a robust slate of services. The ideal candidate will have flexibility in their schedule and be self-motivated.
Core Responsibilities
**Minimum Qualifications: ** High School diploma or equivalent experience. Intermediate to advanced computer and information technology skills required. Previous experience working or volunteering in public service is preferred but not required.
**Working Conditions & Environment: ** Ability to lift 25 pounds, to push a cart loaded with library materials, to reach and bend to retrieve materials, and to stand or sit at service desk for long periods. Retrieve materials from outside daily.
