Metadata Librarian (Vacancy#: VAR002947), GS-13/14

The Metadata Services Section of the Collections Discovery and Metadata Services (CDMS) division at the Library of Congress is seeking a metadata librarian. The division manages enterprise-wide systems in support of the Library’s operations and mission to provide access to collections. CDMS staff manage projects, develop and implement technology solutions, and ensure their integration with the Library’s IT environment. Metadata librarians in the Metadata Services section manage the Library’s metadata systems and lead modernization efforts.

The salary range ($117,962 - $181,216 per year) reflects the locality pay adjustments for the Washington, D.C., metro area. The incumbent of this position will work a flextime work schedule. This is a non-supervisory, bargaining unit position.
