Library Director

Are you passionate about fostering a love for learning and creating community spaces that inspire? The Thompson Public Library is looking for an experienced, dedicated, and innovative Library Director to lead our library and oversee all aspects of library services. This role involves administration, supervision, program and collection development, and building maintenance to ensure our library remains a valuable resource for the community.

Our Library Director’s responsibilities will include but not limited to library administration and supervision, program & collection development, building maintenance, and community engagement. Our ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Library Science or equivalent, proven experience in library administration and program development, strong leadership, communication and organizational skills and a passion for library services and community engagement.
