The Slinger Community Library is seeking a qualified individual who is passionate about providing and managing library services in a vibrant and growing community. The library is a dynamic resource for the village, with materials and programs that attract patrons of all ages. The library is a proud member of the Monarch Library System in Wisconsin, with an excellent team serving the community. The highly motivated staff accomplishes a lot in a limited space and is looking forward to a future expansion into a renovated building that will help enhance services significantly.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Grade 1 certification or be eligible for such certification. The requirements are as defined in the Certification Manual for Wisconsin Public Library Directors: https://www.dpi.wi.gov/pld/certification

Preferred Qualifications: The successful candidate will assist and guide the architectural and fundraising teams to support the planned Library expansion. Experience with capital projects, including fundraising campaigns, is preferred.

Salary & Benefits: The starting salary range for this full-time, 40-hour/week position is $65,000-$73,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The position may require some nights and weekends. A generous benefit package includes health and dental insurance; sick leave; paid vacation; ten paid holidays and one personal day annually; plus, enrollment in the Wisconsin Retirement System.

Community: Slinger, Wisconsin is located in Washington County in South-eastern Wisconsin. It is a welcoming community with excellent amenities including a great school system, beautiful parks, entertainment, and a service-oriented public library. The community has a population of 6,575 with a service population of 12,924+.
