Library Associate

The West Warren Library is a small library with a big heart! We are currently looking for a part time Associate to join our team. The position is a minimum of 15 hours per week, and pays between $17-$19/hr based on experience.  The Library Associate will open and close the library, perform all duties associated with circulation, interlibrary loan, ready reference, and general computer instruction.  Extensive computer experience is a must. In addition, this person will be responsible for maintaining order of the library collection, including but not limited to shelving, shelf reading, materials processing, and light cleaning. The Library Associate will also assist the with creating, distributing, and posting information promoting library events, both physically and electronically.  This position works closely with the Library Director, and other staff, and may be asked to assist with additional projects as needed.

Qualifications

A minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited college, and library experience preferred, however, we are willing to provide library training to a candidate that is experienced otherwise.
