$2,890.31 to $3,179.34 biweekly.  Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.  Suntree/Viera Public Library.  Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. OR Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and may include evenings, weekends, and on-call hours.  Performs skilled administrative work overseeing operations of several libraries in one of the areas of Brevard County, in addition to serving as the Director of Suntree/Viera Public Library.  Supervision is given to professional, technical, clerical and support staff.

Education/Qualifications:

Graduation from a graduate library school program with a Master’s degree in Library Science PLUS five (5) years of professional library experience including three (3) years of experience as a library director.  Demonstrated knowledge of buildings and facilities maintenance is preferred.  SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must possess or obtain prior to employment a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment.  In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
