Librarian – Youth Services

The Fox River Valley Public Library District is seeking a community-driven and dynamic librarian who is passionate about working with children aged 0-12 and their caregivers and looking to take library services to the next level.  If you are great at multitasking, embracing change, and an out-of-the-box thinker, we’d love to hear from you. The Youth Services Librarian is responsible for developing and managing library collections, coordinating outreach activities with community partners, and planning and presenting library programs for families and children.

The successful applicant is:

• An out-of-the box thinker, creative, and familiar with library trends as it relates to youth services
• Able to work in a changing work environment
• Knowledgeable of emerging technologies and trends
• Comfortable with the technologies necessary to help patrons navigate the library environment in person, by phone and online
