DescriptionPurchase College Library is seeking a collaborative, innovative, and service-oriented individual for the position of Head of Technical Services. This position provides leadership, management, and strategic direction for all Technical Services operations including acquisitions, cataloging and catalog maintenance, periodicals and serials, government documents, cataloging and metadata management of media collections in all formats, binding, materials processing, collections preservation workflows, and weeding. Provides budgetary and collections analytics reports monthly. This position reports to the Library Director. The Head of Technical Services supervises the Acquisition and Collections Coordinator, and Government Documents Specialist.
